ABOUT  

Kaiuna O is an editor, creative director, and sound designer with a penchant for animation, vibrancy, and texture.  At NYU, they built a strong foundation in film, art history, dance, and music, to explore how technology pollutes and mutates our relationship to art making, curation, and human identity. They are interested in memory, the anthropocene, dissecting systems of power, the erotic, and fashion. Kaiuna enjoys working on projects that invoke a sense of drama, require experimentaion conceptually or in technique, and or require us to exhume our internal/external ecosystems. Kaiuna personally loves working on music videos, short films,  fashion + beauty editorial/commercials. Their process utilizes experimental and traditional storytelling techniques, research, conversation, and play to build strong visual and auditory languages. 

They hate sour cream, bad title fonts, backwards incompatibility  and love dancing to the point of exhaustion.  Their favorite book is Geek Love by Katherine Dunn.
